The Montgomery Town Council has a new member.  Doug Meiring was named to the council to replace longtime member Deron Steiner who resigned last month.  Meiring thanked Steiner for his leadership and service giving credit to him and other council members for leading the town where it is today.  Meiring says Montgomery has become a “destination community” sought out by families raising kids.  He says the town has outstanding leaders and a top notch school system with a wealth of citizens who volunteer for the betterment of the community.  In a statement Meiring said he will do his best to be a part of the town’s growth and prosperity for years to come.
