Violet Louise Cox 74 years young of Odon,died at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, on Jan. 8, 2020. She had been critically ill for three weeks.
She was born to Alvin and Dovie (Franklin) Harper Sept. 8, 1945.She married Robert E. Cox who died June 30, 1978. They had five children James and John Cox of Odon, Darrell Cox of Paoli, Lisa Alano of Bloomfield and Allan Cox who died Sept. 7, 2017. She had 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren that she loved very much. Her siblings who survive are Leveda Clark, Ruth Bateman, Janice Rydenbark, Brenda Baize, Diana Bugher, Sharon Wright, William Harper, John Harper and Charles Harper. Deceased siblings are Hazel Tschantz, Daisy Canady, Rex Harper and Bruce Harper.
Violet retired from Chuckles, Odon, in 2018, where she prepared food at Subway and Noble Romans Pizza for many years. She will be greatly missed by all.
There will be no visitation and a Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
