Carl A. Fox, age 83, died Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Hillside Manor Nursing Home.
Carl was born January 1, 1937 in Montgomery to Earl Fox and Evelyn Rose (Nolley). He graduated from Montgomery High School in 1954. He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Carl was a bartender. Carl is a life member of the VFW and American Legion and a Post Commander at the VFW.
Carl is survived by two sons Earl J. (Rhonda) Fox and William A. (Monica) Fox both of Washington; daughter Rebecca (Rodrigo) Diaz of Washington; eight grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Matthew Fox and two sisters Helen Fox and Rita Ivy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Catholic Church on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 11:00 am with Father Jeremy King and Father Sudhakar Bhastati as celebrants. Burial will follow with Military Graveside Rites by Washington American Legion and VFW at Sugarland Memory Garden. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Ed Lee Mortuary downtown Chapel.
