The annual gasoline price forecast from GasBuddy calls for a nationwide average of $2.60 a gallon in 2020, which is right about where it was to start the year. On New Year’s Day, the average in Indiana was $2.50. The cheapest price in the state was $2.24 in Gary. The low in Indianapolis was $2.39 at several locations.
Gas prices in Washington were 2.55 on New Year’s Day, they were 2.46 in Petersburg; 2.49 in Loogootee, and 2.54 to 2.57 in Vincennes.
