The big annual New Year’s Eve tradition in Vincennes continues tonight. It’s the Watermelon Drop at Patrick Henry Square downtown.
Festivities start at 9 with food and refreshments in the big ten and music provided by a DJ. Pictures with the big watermelon will be offered. At midnight, 20 watermelons will dropped to the splatform from the 500 pound watermelon from the air. Fireworks will mark the start of the new year.
