No foul play is suspected in a death investigation in Greene County following a fire.
A man was found inside a home on Wine Street in Owensburg Thursday afternoon. Reports are that authorities were called when someone was conducting a welfare check on the home. Officials say a couch had been on fire and had burned itself out.
A man identified as Jose Munoz was found dead inside and the cause of death was determined to be smoke inhalation.
The investigation continues.
