Evelyn L. York, 95, of Washington, passed away at 6:55 pm Thursday,
December 19, 2019 at Eastgate Manor in Washington.
She was born October 9, 1924 in Indiana to William and Cecil Pearl (Bailey)
Catt.
Evelyn was a homemaker who enjoyed painting, reading and watching the
Chicago Cubs. She also played music and enjoyed singing with her siblings
when she was younger.
Surviving are her daughters Beverly Street of Washington and Karen Yarnell
and her husband Steven of Columbus, Ga. She has one surviving sister,
Deanna William; along with 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 18
great-great grandchildren.
Evelyn will be buried in the Sugarland Memory
Gardens at a later date.
