Bert Beaman Jr. 86, of Vincennes, IN, passed away at 11:00 am Monday, December 23, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was born July 8, 1933 in Knox County, IN, to Bert and Francis (Meeks) Beaman Sr.
Bert owned Beaman and Sons Construction, and was a member of the Harmony Society, where he had served as president. He enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting.
Surviving are his children, Becky Bough and her husband, Terry, of Vincennes, IN, Rick Beaman and his wife, Kathy, of Vincennes, IN, Tom Beaman and his wife, Nancy, of Vincennes, IN, Kevin Beaman and his wife, Lisa, of Princeton, IN, and Steve Beaman and his wife, Donna, of Vincennes, IN; a sister Fran Biehl and her husband, Herschel, of Vincennes, IN; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife Marjorie “Marge” (Raney) Beaman; his son, David Beaman; two sisters, Shirley Ballard and Bev Teising; and a brother Robert Beaman.
Friends may visit with Bert’s family from 4:00 – 7:00 on Friday, at Goodwin Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, at 11:00, at Memorial Park Cemetery.
