Cops and Kids happened today in Washington.
FOP Lodge 101 member Steve Riney has been involved with the program for many years and he says the number of kids being served this year was down but that’s not a bad thing..
Kids shopped at the local Wal-Mart with money that was donated by community members, businesses and organizations. They bought needed clothing items and a toy. They were then treated to lunch at the Conservation Club.
It was the 29th year for the annual event.
