A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for Knox, Daviess and Martin Counties through 7-am tomorrow.

The National Weather Service says we can expected mixed precipitation to increase in intensity by this afternoon and transitioning into all snow tonight.  Up to 3 inches are possible.   Plan on slick and snow covered roads tonight and tomorrow morning.

Overnight in Central Indiana about 4.5 inches fell overnight and more is expected there today.  Weather experts say when all is said and done by early tomorrow, Central Indiana could see a total of 5 to 9 inches of snow total including last night’s precpitation.

But again in our area, up to 3 inches may happen.  Some forecasts are saying be on the lookout for light ice accumulation while others say no accumulation is expected.
