The Indiana State Police All Crimes Police Unit and Troopers from the Jasper Post conducted a warrant sweep Wednesday and Thursday. A total of 8 people were arrested for various crimes.
Among them were Joshua D. Palmer of Vincennes who was wanted for 2 counts of Attempted Rape, 2 counts of Attempted Burglary and Attempted Residential Entry. He was taken to the jail in Daviess County
Also, Kelly J. Birkle of Velpen was wanted for Dealing Meth. She was taken to the Pike County Jail.
Others arrested in the sweep were;
David Alan Knieriem of Paoli IN. He was arrested on Possession of Methamphetamine, probation revocation. Housed in the Orange County Jail.
Terry Denton of Paoli IN, Theft, Level 6 Felony Housed in the Orange County Jail.
Dora A. Apple of Paoli IN, Possession of Methamphetamine, level 6 Felony Housed in the Orange County Jail.
Kayla D. Looney of French Lick IN, Theft, Level 6 Felony Dubious Co. Jail
Shanna L. Staggs of Bloomington IN, Possession of Methamphetamine, probation revocation level 4 felony. Housed in the Orange County Jail.
Bryan Lee Gregory of Eckerty IN, Possession of Methamphetamine level 4 felony, Driving while suspended class A Misdemeanor. Housed in the Warrick County Jail.
