We are less than a week from the 2019 Cops and Kids event in Washington.
Steve Riney with the Washington FOP Lodge says over 100 kids will be escorted to Wal Mart on December 19th to shop for needed clothing and other items.
Cops, firemen, EMS personnell and others are assigned a child from Head Start or 4 Rivers Pres-School and Riney says they get a list of what the child needs and wants….
Donations are still being accepted. You can drop off a check at the Daviess or Martin County Sherrifs offices or the Washington, Odon or Loogootee Police Departments.
