Deer hunters in Daviess County have harvested 842 deer so far during this year’s hunting seasons.

That’s according to a new interactive website allowing deer hunters to access white-tailed deer harvest data. The site was recently launched as hunters have been asking for harvest data and comparisons between years. The new website is a direct result of that feedback. Harvest data is updated daily.

According to the site as of this morning, there have been 100,025 deer taken in this current hunting season in Indiana.  842 were killed in Daviess County; 792 in Knox; 1,368 in Pike and 1,338 in Martin.

This weekend marks the start of  Muzzleloader Deer Hunting Season.
