-Saturday, James Queen, 64 of Washington, was arrested for Criminal Trespass, Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication and Residential Entry. The arrest was made by Washington PD. No bond was set. The arrest was the result of an investigation into a Breaking and Entering reported from a Van Trees Street home at 5:47-pm on Saturday.
-Wilma Stiles, 58 of Elnora was arrested by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department on Sunday for Battery Resulting in Injury.
-Kevin Lee White of Washington was arrested on Sunday for a Petition to Revoke a Suspended Sentence. Bond for the 39 year old was set at $2500.
-A vehicle hit a cow in the road at 550-South and 100-West. That was reported at 11:23 am on Sunday. The truck sustained damage and the cow had to be put down.
-There was a car/deer crash at 1000-North and 700-East last night at 6:37-pm.
-There was a report of a tree falling on a vehicle on Viola Avenue at 4:20-pm Sunday.
-The Sheriff’s Department received a report from an older woman stuck in a car, slightly stuck in the water on 900-East at a ditch near Montgomery. There were no injuries as authorities helped the woman from the vehicle which was towed. That was reported just before 4 on Saturday afternoon.
-Authorities responded to reports of vehicles stuck in high water Saturday just before 7pm at 125-East and 250-South in Washington.
-There was a two vehicle accident Saturday at East Walnut and Northeast 14th in Washington. There were no injuries.
