Jilaine P. (Campton) Wirts, 59 passed away at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. Jilaine was born on May 29, 1960 in Daviess County the daughter of James and Elaine (Schlachter) Campton. She married Thomas Wirts and they resided in Washington.
Jilaine had been a Registered Nurse for twenty- five years and was a member of Bethany Christian Church. She loved her grandchildren and family, her dogs and home décor projects. Jilaine’s true passion was taking care of people.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Wirts of Washington; daughter, Brittany (Welp) Bean and her husband Luke of Washington; grandchildren, Meredith, Anderson and Caroline Bean; her siblings, sister, Cindy Wichman and her husband Chuck of Evansville, brother, Doug Campton and his wife Carla of Washington and sister, Chandra “Channy” Mehringer and her husband Robert of Evansville. Jilaine was preceded in death by her son Ryan Welp and her parents James and Elaine Campton.
Friends may visit with Jilaine’s family from 4-7 pm on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Bethany Christian Church, 1139 State Road 57, Washington, IN. A memorial service will begin at 7:00 pm at the conclusion of visitation with Pastor’s Matt Merold and Tom Watson officiating.
