State Trooper shot in Madison, IN

A man shot a state trooper Saturday in southern Indiana. He’s in jail and the trooper is in the hospital. The trooper’s name is Master Trooper Joseph Livers. After he was shot he was taken to a medical center in Madison and then to the University of Cincinnati hospital where he had surgery. State police say he was shot by a man named Wade Roark. He got the 911 call that Roark was shooting a gun inside a house and when he go there, Roark shot the gun from the inside of the house to the outside, hitting Livers in the leg. Roark is now in jail charged with attempted murder and battery.
