Some water customers in Loogootee are under a precautionary boil order.
Yesterday afternoon city officials advised that water customers on North Line Street north of the water tower, in Nobles Court and on Crane and Fairview Street should boil their water for five minutes before drinking, cooking or using for oral hygiene.
The order was put in place due to a water main break north of JFK Avenue near Fairview Street.
