Mildred “Midge” Alice Cox

Mildred “Midge” Alice Cox, 75, of Washington Indiana, passed away November 14, 2019 at her residence.

Mildred was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. She loved reading and her favorite author was Steven King. She also enjoyed traveling, camping, watching westerns, and spending time with her family.

She worked at Perdue Farms for 17 years as a Biological Representative, where she retired in 2003.

Surviving are her children, Lisa Cox and her husband Tim Kiser of Petersburg, IN, Rodney Cox and his wife Melissa of Washington, IN, Kevin Cox and his wife Lisa of Washington, IN, Kimberly Allison and her husband John of Washington IN. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Born July 19, 1944, she was the daughter of Carroll and Susie (Clark) Arnold. She is preceded by her parents, a sister Ruth (Queen) Walls; her brothers Jack Arnold, Gene Arnold, Leland Arnold; and her husband of 42 years Gerald Cox.

Friends may visit with Mildred’s family from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Thursday November 21,2019, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday November 22, 2019 at 11:30 am at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St John Cemetery.
