Accident and arrest reports

-Washington police,  the Sheriff’s Department, DCH Ambulance and the Washington Fire Department worked an accident called in at 1:11-pm Tuesday from US 50 and I69.  Accident reports were still being completed and full details were not yet available.  The police and sheriff’s department logs state the crash involved a semi and an RV.  Extrication equipment was utilized as one person was trapped in a vehicle.  The trailer of the semi was said to have extensive damage.

-at 3:46 pm authorities were called to US 50 and 800-East  near Montgomery where a semi was reported to have jacknifed in a ditch. There were no injuries.

-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Shoals man on a Failure to Appear warrant for Operating While Intoxicated.  Bond was psoted for 35-year-old Russell Peek.

-A Petersburg man was booked in on a warrant.  36-year-old David R. Waltz was wanted for a Petition to Revoke a Suspended Sentence for Possession of Meth and Operating While Intoxicated with Endangerment.

-Indiana State Police arrested an Indianapolis resident in Daviess County Tuesday.  18-year-old Kevin Segovia was charged with Driving While Suspended with a Prior.
