Washington City Councilman Jerry Sidebottom suggested giving the bicycles in the Police Department bike room to the Power House. He made the comment at Monday night’s city council meeting.
Sidebottom said the bikes don’t sell at auction and the room is full. Police Chief Todd Church said the WPD has advertised the bikes on lost and found sites and social media, but bikes in the room for 30 days or more and are not claimed are kept. Church will present a policy for the Council to consider at the next meeting.
