Only two Daviess County communities will get money from the latest round of Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb’s Next Level Roads Community Crossing Initiative. The grant awards were announced today.
In all, 220 Indiana cities, towns and counties are sharing $99.2 million in state matching funds for local road projects.
Elnora is getting over $92,000 and Cannelburg over $95,000.
Other communities in the region getting funds include Martin County awarded over $574,000, Petersburg, over $197,000, Vincennes over $438,000, Bicknell over $411,000 and Greene County is getting $1 million.
