A longtime local state representative will have a challenger in the May 2020 primary in Indiana House District 45.
52-year-old Jeff Gormong has announced that he will challenge Bruce Borders in the Republican primary.
District 45, which includes all of Sullivan County and portions of Vigo, Greene, Knox and Daviess counties.
Gormong is a southern Vigo County farmer.
Borders has served the district for 13 of the last 15 years.
