An incident over the weekend in Vincennes has prompted Vincennes and Knox County law enforcement to put out a notice to the public.

They are telling parents to keep an ever vigilant eye on their kids.  This past Saturday, it was reported that a person described as a black male was looking in the windows of vehicles at Oubache Trails Park in Vincennes.  The man then was seen watching kids playing at a camp fire near a rented cabin and motioned for one of the little girls to come to him.  The kids then ran into the cabin and told adults.

Reports say the man was confronted but did not reply.

When questioned by police, it was learned he was from Washington and said he was visiting a friend at a cabin and denied the said incident with the children.  He was not arrested since no crime had been committed.

Again, law enforcement in Vincennes are asking all to keep watch and maybe even extra eyes on their kids.
