It’s College Application Week

Fifteen Indiana colleges will waive college application fees during Indiana’s College Application Week, September 23-27, according to the Indiana Commission for Higher Education. Another 17 colleges have reported free applications year-round.

In addition, nearly 100 high schools across the state will host College Application Week events to help high school seniors navigate the admissions process — making this Indiana’s biggest College Application celebration since joining the American College Application Campaign in 2013. This is the first year for the free application period to stretch to a full week; it was previously a one-day event.

“We are encouraged to see more high schools and colleges participating than ever before,” said Indiana Commissioner for Higher Education Teresa Lubbers. “The value of higher education has never been greater and College Application Week provides students the ability to apply for free to some of Indiana’s colleges as they take that critical step toward their futures.”

Indiana high school seniors can apply to the following Hoosier colleges for free between September 23 and 27:

College Application Week is sponsored in partnership by the Indiana Commission for Higher Education and the American College Application Campaign to increase the number of first-generation and low-income students who pursue education beyond high school.
