Martin County authorities have released details of a fatal crash that happened on Tuesday.
They say at 4:23-pm, a single vehicle crash happened on 231 south of Loogootee. The 2011 Chevy Express van was south and went off the west side of the road for an unknown reason. The van hit a utility pole and a tree. The driver, Robin I. Shaw of Indianapolis was pronounced dead at the scene.
That crash remains under investigation.
