Gary Allen Willis, 78, of Washington, went to his Heavenly Home on September 7, 2019. He was born on July 4, 1941 in Petersburg, IN to the late Clarence W. and Hazel (Cook) Willis. He attended Petersburg Schools. He was a member of the Wesleyan United Methodist Church. Gary was a Truck Driver for Hoosier Precision Prducts and Ball Bearings. He retired from the Recycling Center. Gary also spent time working at Gill Funeral Home and enjoyed helping those in need and being of comfort.
Gary leaves behind his sons Christopher A. Willis (Stacey) and Kevin L. Willis (Terri); and sisters Shirley Fiddler, Geraldine Lawyer, and LouElla Selbey. He is preceded in death by his brothers Floyd Willis, Ralph Willis, Jay Fettinger, and Dallas Willis, and infant brothers, Larry and Paul; and sisters Mary Elberry and Elma Grace.
The funeral service for Gary will take place at Gill Funeral Home, on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. September 11, 2019, with a visitation on Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Anderson Chapel Cemetery in Petersburg, IN. The service will be officiated by Pastor James Downs. Online condolences may be made at www.gillsince1872.com.
