The Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department was called out about 3 yesterday afternoon to County Roads 300-South and 200-West where there was a report of a semi-trailer fire.
First arriving crews found a load of hay had caught fire as a result of the trailer tire rubbing against the fender. Crews removed the hay bale and extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported.
