Princeton man sentenced for failure to register as a sex offender

On February 25, 2019, Sgt. Bruce L. Vanoven concluded an investigation into 26 year old Zane Thompson and his failure to comply in the Indiana Sex Offender Registry requirements set forth by state law. Sgt. Vanoven requested a warrant, and on May 12, 2019 Zane Thompson was located and arrested by Princeton Officer Jason Swan on an additional outstanding Theft warrant. Further Mr. Thompson received a Possession of Methamphetamines charge on that date. Mr. Thompson has remained in custody on these three charges since his May arrest.

On August 28, 2019, Mr. Zane Thompson appeared in Circuit Court and plead guilty to the charges and was sentenced to 540 days in the Department of Corrections.
