After the city’s Board of Public Works and Safety met Wednesday, Bicknell City Police Officer Kevin Carroll was dismissed from the department. He’s been on leave since his April 2018 arrest for allegedly sharing information concerning a drug investigation. At a court appearance earlier this week, Carroll pleaded guilty to Criminal Recklessness in exchange for the more serious charge of Official Misconduct being dropped.
Bicknell only has one police officer now due to internal issues. The city council meets in special session Monday to decide what to do about the department.
