A police officer accused of letting a drug suspect toss his heroin out of the window may be ready to agree to a plea. A judge canceled Princeton Police Officer Brandt George’s case yesterday. There’s a new hearing scheduled for the end of October. Neither George’s lawyer nor the special prosecutor handling the case will say if the moves mean George is looking to plead guilty. He’s facing two years in prison for misconduct. Police say George allowed a suspect to toss his drug out of George’s squad car back in February.
