Joe Fleck, 72, of Washington, passed away at 3:51 am Sunday, July 28, 2019 at home with his family by his side.

Joe was born in Vincennes, Indiana, on October 27, 1946 to Cletus and Norma Jean (Bynum) Fleck. He married Pam Webber on March 30, 1968.  A Washington City Councilman from 1995 to 2017, Joe retired from Daviess Community Hospital and previously been employed by the city of Washington as a police officer, Hoosier Magnetics, and Toyota. Joe served in the National Guard and was a member of the Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Moose and Eagles.

Surviving are his wife, Pam (Webber) Fleck; his children, Scott Fleck of South Boston, IN, Rhonda Robinson and her companion Steve Lamb of Washington, and Charlene Breidenbaugh  and her husband Jessie of Shoals; a sister, Marvis Rodman and her husband Jim of Indianapolis; a brother, Dave Fleck of Evansville; his grandchildren, Josie Fleck, Kelsey Fleck, Morgan Robinson and her companion Mitch, Andy Purdue, Mikey Shartzer, and Dalton Parr; his great grandchildren, Laithan Alvey, Brylee Alvey, Jaidan Colvin, Bella McCormick, Kylar McCormick, and Chase Kavanaugh; four sisters-in-law, and 1 brother-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two grandchildren, Makenlie Robinson and Haiden Robinson.

A Celebration of Joe’s Life will be conducted at 7:00 pm Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State Street in Washington with Yvonne Evans officiating. Visitation will be from 3-7 pm on Wednesday at the Funeral
home.
