Area rivers are falling.
The Flood Warning for the White at Edwardsport is no longer in effect as the river there is just a foot above flood stage at 16 feet currently. State Road 358 west of Plainville was reopened yesterday.
State Road 257 south of Washington, Portersville Road and Old Vincennes Road due remain closed due to high water.
The White at Petersburg is still under a Flood Warning. It was observed at about 23 feet or 7 feet above flood stage this morning.
The East Fork White at Shoals has dropped to 17 feet or so which is 3 feet below flood stage.
The Wabash at the Lincoln Bridge at Vincennes was about a half foot below the 16 foot flood stage.
