The Daviess County Commissioners had a short agenda for Tuesday’s meeting.

A report on the county’s health Insurance was the main topic of discussion.  Representatives of Hoosier Insurance reported the County’s medical and prescription drug costs were down due to changes made last year.    The Commissioners approved a proposal to change the insurance carrier to QBE, the company with the lowest quote.   The Commissioners also heard a proposal to contribute to employee HSA accounts to encourage more employees to make use of them.

In other business, the Commissioners approved a quote of $539 from Cummins to service the Court House generator and voted to release a lien on property on CR 150 S.  The lien had been placed as part of a SIDC project in 2001.
