River Flood Warnings remain in effect.
Looking at the latest information from the National Weather Service, the White at Edwardsport was observed at 21.2 feet this morning. It will rise and crest at about 22 feet tomorrow. That’s 7 feet above flood stage. Smothers Creek near Plainville is up to over 12.5 feet this morning. It will crest at 15 feet by late Sunday. The flood stage is 16 feet.
The White at Petersburg was at about 23 feet early this morning which is 7 feet above flood stage. It’s expected to crest at nearly 25 feet on Saturday.
The East Fork White at Shoals was at just over 22 feet this morning and it will crest at 26.5 Saturday night. That’s 6.5 feet above flood stage.
The Wabash at Vincennes will crest just under the 16 foot flood stage by tonight.
