Lucille R. Meredith, 95, of Washington, Indiana, passed away Thursday, June 13, at the Emerald Place, Washington.
She was born July 22, 1923, in Moline, Illinois, to Peter and Frances (Knopp) Wilms. She graduated from East Moline High School, Moline, Illinois. She married John A. Meredith on Aug. 16, 1941, in Moline, Illinois. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Washington, Indiana.
She is survived by her son Glenn (Carol) Meredith; daughter-in-law Gail Meredith; sister Joyce Long; 10 grandchildren, Mike Meredith, Arion Meredith, Jason (Rene) Meredith, Matt (Brenda) Meredith, Karlie (Andy) Van Houton, Jennifer Austin, Cory Meredith, Kaitlyn Meredith, Tyler Meredith and Faith Meredith; nieces Joyce Carter and Linda Meeker; and many great-grandchildren.
Lucille is preceded in death by her husband, John A. Meredith; son Joseph M. Meredith; sister Annie Nixon; and granddaughter Danielle Meredith.
She was loved by many and will be missed.
Private Committal Services will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois.
