Traffic was backed up and the north and southbound lanes of I-69 at mile marker 68 were closed last night following a fatal accident. The accident involved one vehicle as Daviess County Sheriff Gary Allison explains…
The call about the wreck came in at just before 9-pm. Crews from several area fire departments as well as State Police and the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department were on the scene for several hours to clean up and investigate the crash. Reports are the person who died was a woman. After an autopsy is performed, it’s expected that authorities will release the name of the deceased.
