National Hospital Week (May 12 – 18) celebrates hospitals and the men and women who, day in and day out, support the health of their communities through compassionate care, constant innovation and unwavering, unmatched dedication.
“National Hospital Week celebrates the hospitals, health systems, and the women and men who support the health and well-being of their communities through dedication and care,” said CEO Tracy Conroy. “Celebrating National Hospital Week provides an opportunity for us to thank all of the dedicated individuals – physicians, nurses, therapists, housekeepers, food service workers, volunteers, administrators, and so many more – for their amazing contributions to our patients and our community.”
At Daviess Community Hospital, the event is intended to celebrate team members who not only provide skillful care, but also provide empathy and compassion to patients and families every day. It’s a great time to say thank you to the knowledgeable and dedicated team of nearly 600 employees at DCH.
