And it is Property Tax Day….Daviess County Treasurer Elaine Wellman is reminding all taxpayers that the Spring Installment of the 2019 property taxes are due today. The Treasurer’s office is located on the main floor of the Daviess County Courthouse and will be open from 8 to 4 today. Wellman says to be sure to bring your tax statement with you. If you mail your tax payment, it must have today’s May 10th postmark. Mail deposited late today may have tomorrow’s postmark, and that will be considered a late payment. You can make credit card payments by calling 844-678-1656. There is a user fee charged for credit card payments. You can also pay on-line at www.govtechtaxpro.com.
