The Daviess County Community Foundation’s Women’s Fund has announced the winning applicant for this year’s $10,000 grant. Out of 13 applicants, the Women’s Fund awarded the 2019 grant to the Veale Creek Theater. The Theater plans to use the funds to remodel the old one-room school house, updating restrooms and making needed repairs to the 72 seat theater. Other finalists for the grant included the Daviess County Museum and the Daviess County 4-H Association.
