The spring installment of property tax payments are due May 10th. That’s one week from today.
Daviess County Treasurer Elaine Wellman reminds property owners that if you’ve not received a statement, call her office. That phone number is 812-254-8677.
You can pay taxes Monday through Friday 8 to 4 at the Treasurer’s office. The office will be open this Saturday 8 to Noon for those who need to make payments.
If you mail, do it early. Mailed payments must be postmarked the 10th to avoid a late fee penalty.
You can pay by credit card online or in person. To pay online go to govtechtaxpro.com or call 844-678-1656. There is a charge to pay by card.
