Janice Cibak died April 24, 2019, in Washington, Indiana, at 10:20 p.m. She was born Feb. 16, 1948, in Vincennes, to Arthur and Rosie Mae (Roach) Wininger. Janice attended North Knox High School. She married Mike Cibak on May 2, 1964. She retired from Hanks Grocery Store, where she had been a cashier. She enjoyed several different crafts.
Janice is survived by her husband, Mike; son Michael Jr. (Toni) Cibak of Montgomery; and daughter Christine (Charles) Whiteman of Reinhold, Pennsylvania. Surviving siblings are Terri Wininger Noland of Bicknell, Christine Nathen of Washington, Mona Lisa Harrington of Vincennes, Rhonda Wininger of Washington, Alice O’Mara of Fort Royal, Virginia, Art Wininger of Martinsville, and Steve Wininger of Washington; four grandchildren, Jordyn Sagner, Dustin Cibak, Jakob Cibak and Samantha Cibak.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Tim Wininger.
Funeral arrangements include visitation Saturday, April 27, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel. Pastor Jon McKinnon will lead a funeral services at 4 p.m. She will be cremated.
