Lola “Beulah” Fuhrman, 94, from Loogootee, Indiana passed away on Wednesday April 17, 2019 at the Villages at Oak Ridge in Washington, Indiana.

She was born on December 13, 1924 in Martin County to Alvin and Eunice (Strawn) Smith.

Beulah married Clarence Fuhrman on June 12, 1943 and he preceded her in death on March 18, 2015. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church and a 1942 graduate of Loogootee High School. Beulah was a stay at home mom and helped her husband on the farm. She was an avid Barr- Reeve Sports fan, as well as a Pacers fan. Most importantly she loved her grandchildren and great- granddaughters.

Beulah is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Fuhrman, her parents; Alvin and Eunice, her son Wayne Fuhrman, and she was the last living sibling in her family.

She is survived by her son, Kent (Janet) Fuhrman, her grandchildren; Kevin (Jodie) Fuhrman, Jeff Fuhrman, all of Loogootee, and Amanda Fuhrman; her great-granddaughters; Brylee, Kenzie, and Hadde Fuhrman, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday April 20, 2019 at 11:30 A.M at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee with Pastor Tim Fleace officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:30 A.M on Saturday April 20, and continue until the time of service. Burial will follow in Goodwill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. John Lutheran Church in Loogootee.
