The Washington High School Business Professionals of America (BPA) is sending nine students to nationals this year in Anaheim, California.  The group will depart on Wednesday, May 1st and return May 5th after the competition.  BPA advisor Brian Hancock tells us a little more about the local chapter at WHS…

Hancock went on to say this year’s group is the biggest to represent Washington at the national level and it will be a costly trip for the week with travel, hotel rooms, transportation and registration fees….

The group is working hard on fundraisers.  Tonight they will be guest servers at Aces Restaurant in Washington filling drinks and clearing tables for tips from 4 to 8pm.  All tip money raised will go for the trip, and Friday the BPA will be hosting a Jim’s Hot Fish Fry at the Washington Eagles Club.  If you would like to donate but can not make an event, contact Brian Hancock at Washington High School.
