Robert E. Clark, 87, passed away at 11:35 on April 3, 2019 at his residence. Bob was born on November 13, 1931 in Daviess County, the son of Alonzo and Mary Ellen (Roach) Clark. He married Leveda Harper on December 19, 1952 and she survives.

Bob served his country during the Korean Conflict in the United States Army and was a Carman for the B and O Railroad. He was a member of the Washington VFW, a lifetime member of the Huntingburg VFW, a member of the Jockey Club and the Indiana Racing Commission. Bob also loved horses and enjoyed racing stock cars, mechanic work and farming.

Survivors include his wife, Leveda Clark of Washington; his children, Ronald E. Clark and his wife Bernadette of Washington, Stephen L. and his wife Shannon of Washington, Jeffrey D. Clark and his wife Rhonda of Washington, Cynthia E. Clark of Washington, Kenneth B. Clark and his wife Lisa of Washington, Sherry L. Harding and her husband Pat of Vincennes, brother, Johnny W. Clark of Kell, IL; seventeen grandchildren, four step grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his children, Beverly S. Clark, Gary A. Clark, Terry R. Clark, brother, Charles Everrett Clark and a sister, Imogene Clark.

Friends may visit with Bob’s family on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 9-11 am at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State Street, Washington. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to assist the Clark family with arrangements.
