Several drunk driving arrests and a boat sinks at Glendale

-Michael Vetter, 31 of Washington was arrested yesterday on a warrant for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person, and an additional charge of False Informing. Bond was set at $2500.

-32-year-old Jeremy Sivey of Washington was charged with being a Habitual Traffic Offender, Operating While Intoxicated with Refusal and with Endangerment.  No bond was set.

-25-year-old Stephanie Offill of Washington was jailed Friday for Possession of Marijuana. Bond was posted.

-32-year-old Dwayne Deckard of Washington was jailed overnight for Operating While Intoxicated with Greather or Equal to .15 % with a passenger under 18 and with Endangerment. No bond was set.

-At 2:22 yesterday afternoon, the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call from a man who said he and a fire had sunk their boat at Glendale.  The two managed to swim to a wooden boat dock in the middle of the lake close to the main boat dock.  Both men were brought to shore and there were no serious injuries. 

-A vehicle went into a ditch at just before 7 last night. That was reported from a Washington resident on Jersey Street.  No injuries reported.

-Authorities responded to an accident at 8:21 on West US Highway 50 west of the County Highway Building.  Madison, and Cannelburg Fire Departments went to the scene as well as the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department and Southwest Medical.
