The City of Princeton is facing a lawsuit after tearing down a building that had stood empty for more than 20 years.
According to a report from WFIE TV in Evansville, the owner of the former Odd Fellows building in Princeton has filed a federal lawsuit against the City of Princeton. The property owner says Princeton city officials want to build a parking lot in the location and razed the building without getting permission. The Odd Fellows building had stood empty for more than 20 years and Princeton’s Building Commissioner had ruled the building was unsafe and ordered the demolition.
