Washington Carnegie Public Library Receives Grant

The Washington Carnegie Public Library has received a $22,500 grant to support the Libraries STEM program.
The Daviess County Community Foundation made the award to support the continuation of the out-of-school STEM program. .
The Library’s after-school program currently serves 150 students, and has a waiting list.
The Daviess County Community Foundation said that funding the program will enhance the local economy and contribute to community growth.
STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
