Frank Stack Jr., 93, passed away on March 11, 2019 at the New Willow Manor Nursing Home. Frank was born on February 6, 1926 in Vincennes, the son of Frank Sr. and Etta (Thompson) Stack. He married D. Helen Boyd and she preceded him in death on July 31, 2004.

Frank served his country during WW II in the United States Navy, and owned an operated Stack Shell Station. He was a fifty-year member of the Masonic Lodge #1 and the Scottish Rite, Past Associate Grand Guardian Jobs Daughters in the State of Indiana, Past Associate Guardian Jobs Daughters Bethel 10, Past Deputy with Jobs Daughters in Monroe City, Bicknell and Petersburg, Past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star and the Shepard White Shrine. He also served as Treasurer of the Lord’s Warehouse in Monroe City. Frank was an elder at Upper Indiana Church and also on Upper Indiana Cemetery Board where he was involved in various activities. After Frank retired as custodian for the Vincennes Community School Corporation, he continued to drive a school bus for specialty trips and after school activities. He drove for over fifty years. He also loved gardening, fishing and spending time with his family and dog Charlie.

Survivors include his daughters, Shirley Brink of Vincennes, Sharon Edmonson of Vincennes, and Sandy Biggs and her husband Jeff of Washington;  his grandchildren, Tina Brink  of South Bend, TJ Brink and his wife Khelia of Vincennes, Jim Edmonson and his wife Mandi of Vincennes, IN, Jesse Biggs and his wife Leah of Cleveland, OH, Jared Biggs and his wife Audra of Madison, AL; great grandchildren, Briley Brink and Lexie, Keely, Allison and Ezri Biggs ; and his sister, Ethel Jane VanVleet and her husband, Nelson,  of Pottsdown, PA;. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Helen Stack, sisters, Helen Blair and Margaret Stack and sons-in-law Thomas Brink and Kenny Edmonson.

Friends may visit with Frank’s family from 5:00 – 7:00 on Thursday at Goodwin Funeral Home. His funeral service will be held on Friday, at 11:00 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Upper Indiana Cemetery.
