As reported yesterday, a fire near Odon occurred Tuesday afternoon and it does remain under investigation.
The Washington Times Herald says the home on First Street was heavily involved when firefighters arrived. The Odon, Madison, Elnora and Plainville Departments were summoned to the scene. The home is owned by LeeAnn Yarborough and was being rented by Eric Cresgy. He was reported to have made it out safe but went back in to fight the fire and collapsed at some point and was taken to the hospital.
The Indiana State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause.
