It was a tornado that was seen in Gibson and Pike Counties Thursday. The National Weather Service surveyed damage there yesterday and determined it was an EF-1 twister that touched down about 11 local time in Oakland City. No injuries were reported. A gazebo was turned over; a storage building and home along with several apartment buildings were damaged. That storm had 110 mile an hour winds and traveled over two and a half miles.
On the same day a tornado was confirmed with 75 mile an hour winds in southeast Knox County Thursday.
